This Perfume Grade Saffron Oil is Steam distilled to a Clear Red liquid that has an amazing amount of depth with Sweet, Herbal & Spicy notes typical of Saffron.

Throughout history Saffron has played an important role in perfumery. This oil can add an immense amount of depth and character to most blends or can be worn on its own.

In Addition, we have found historical records dating back 1420 years where Saffron was also used as a fabric dye. So YES, WARNING, Authentic Saffron will stain your clothing and even skin.

Saffron is technically a spice and can be used in food and tea. It is derived from the flower of Crocus Sativus and can fetch over $6000 per/kg for the higher grades.
