Our organically crafted Lilac Absolute Oil, is extracted from the delicate light-bluish purple coloured blossoms of the Syringa vulgaris. 

Lilac Absolute Oil It is a romantic, garden-fresh, green and jasmine-like fragrance implying emotions of love, virtuousness, and purity. The Fragrance is more subtle than other Flower extracts and can be used directly as well as in your favourite blend.

Syringa vulgaris is a deciduous shrub that is native to Eastern Europe and the Balkans but has since spread through Europe and has been naturalised in much of North America. From a growth standpoint, the Lilac plant can stretch up to 15 feet tall with deep green leaves, leathery capsule-like fruits and oval clusters of colourful blossoms. The smell of the flowers is authentic, exquisite and intoxicating.

Safety: Not to be Taken. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding. External use only. Patch test before use. Absolutes are recommended to be diluted to 2.5% strength. Not suitable for candle making.
