“Mitti attar” or “baked earth attar” is an amazing Indian Perfume that is made by distilling baked clay/pots and infusing it into a base oil containing a predominantly of sandalwood and other natural oils in a very labour intensive process.

What Makes a premium Mitti Attar?

The main factors that impact on the Quality of the product is the Distillation process itself and the Quality of the Base oil used for the infusion.

There are many fakes on the market that are not made through distillation at all, rather the fragrance profile is matched by other oils to weakly replicate the profile.

Then there are Mitti Attar oils that will only contain a very small amount of Sandalwood oil 3-10%.

Our Oil Meets Both these quality factors by using a premium quality and quantity of Indian Sandalwood oil and using a 3rd generation family distiller.
