Rose geranium is an evergreen shrub that is native to southern part of Africa valued for its rose scented oil that is used in food preparation, perfumery and herbal medicine.
This perfume grade oil is extracted by steam distillation from the stem & leaves of the rose geranium plant. It has a sweet rosy scent with a little more potency that makes it perfect for the diffuser.
The flowers and leaves are used as scent and flavouring in food preparation while the leaves and extracted oil are used in traditional remedies for the many health benefits it provides. Geranium oil has value in aroma therapy and massage therapy applications. Also used for making soap & bath oil It blends well with other essential oils including lavender, basil, lime, jasmine, neroli, sage, orange and many more.
