Sourced from a family in India that has been distilling Rose oil for 5 generations. Practicing traditional steam distillation methods, It takes approximately 2500 roses to make 1ml of this oil.

This oil is much darker in appearance to others in our range due to rose quality & a longer distillation time producing a deep, caramel rose profile. Great for perfume creators providing a deep earthy rose note to your project blend. 

Originating in Syria, the Rosa Damascena species has been considered superior in perfumery for centuries. Romans, Syrians, Moroccans, Bulgarians, Turks, Indians & French who have all been producers of this Oil and it's cultivars.
